Overcast in Okuma

If you ever get the chance to stay in Japan, I highly recommend visiting the turquoise beaches of Okuma. Here, there are fantastic fishing grounds, excellent snorkeling waters (even for the timid beginner), and breathtaking views of the mountains in the distance. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself wanting to stay overnight! But rest assured, there are camping grounds if you wish to make the most of your trip!

First off I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t
mind. I was curious to find out how you center
yourself and clear your mind prior to writing.
I have had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out there.
I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips?
    Appreciate it!

Firstly, thank you so much for taking your time to write to me. That means quite a bit! Knowing exactly how to start is something that I often struggle with too so you’re not alone in that aspect. Typically, I write first thing in the morning (after coffee). It’s when I feel most organic and my brain doesn’t have enough time to make me second guess what comes naturally. Even if it’s not great, at least its something. Having a couple sentences down will generally spur a really good thought thereafter. This might be weird as well but I have a list of words that I draw inspiration from. My list right now includes words like waltzed, buoyant, clamor, etc. I’m fairly obsessed with words in general so I add to that list almost everyday. It keeps my content fresh and it also challenges me to use what I’ve added.

I hope this might be of some value to you 🙂 If there is anything you would like me to read/look over/visit feel free to let me know!
